The collection at BHMS library features: Approximately 13,000 books,online databases, over 35 periodical subscriptions, member of ACCESS PA (inter-library loan service), Reading Eagle and Kutztown Patriot newspaper subscriptions, World Book Online-electronic encyclopedia, Videos, DVD's and E-Books, Student Resource Center,

Special Promotions:
- Throughout the year various activities are held for Teen Read Week, Veteran's Day Celebration, Read Across America, Poetry Month and National Library Week.
- Students can assist in the library during their club activity period. Library aide responsibilities include assisting library patrons with circulation, book processing, shelving library materials, and overall maintenance of the library.
- Students in Grades 6-8 can compete in the Reading Olympic's sponsored by the Berks County School Librarian's Association.
- A Fall book fair takes place in December .
- Make yourself familiar with the District's AUP
- Remember to look for sites that have the following in the addresses: .gov, .org, .net, .edu
- Be careful of some .com sites! Always check if the site is reliable.
